At first it was the Palace On Wheels, that came, conquered and cut the first
turf for another grandiose and recreational train called -Heritage On Wheels.
Henceforth, the world embraced another delectable luxurious train, "The
Heritage On Wheels"on 17th February, 2006. Heritage On Wheels is a sheer
well-crafted romance with the journey amidst the arid desert land and the unexplored
place of beautiful frescoes-The Shekhawati region.
Fourteen ethnically designed and royally furnished coaches were settled on
meter gauge to create the wonder tourist train fascination named Heritage
On Wheels. Now, the mobile palace is an irresistible temptation to all the
wannabes princes of world to have week-long taste of royalty.
The Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation in collaboration with Indian
Railways spawned this luxurious tourist train overwhelmed by the success of
Palace On Wheels. This another sequel to the luxury trains in India have gained
rapid recognition within 7 months of delightful wheezing into the semi-arid
regions of Shekhawati, the open art gallery of Rajasthan.
Heritage On Wheels chugs you rhythmically through the grandeur and majesty
of Bikaner and Gajner regions offering with the rare glimpse of the wildlife
and women carrying terracotta pot on their heads.
The train has been beautifully sufficed with crème de la crème
luxuries of five star hotels festooned with creativity. Refurbished with princely
charms throughout, Heritage On Wheels evokes the immemorial past.
Within each of the carriage, there is an additional facility of channel music,
DVD players and massage centers. The rooms are plush and draped with curtains
and also the coaches have been stocked with a bar and lounge.
